268 clicks in 90 days: what local service pSEO did for BrothersBBK
268 clicks. 7,032 impressions. A 90-day window (June 21 to September 19, 2026). Source: Search Console.
Those are the BrothersBBK numbers: a professional BBQ catering company based in São Paulo, Brazil, after applying local service pSEO.
Not an astronomical figure. That is precisely why it deserves to be published. It shows what happens in the early phase of a programmatic work focused on hyper-local demand, with no paid campaigns, no shortcuts.
What local service pSEO means
Programmatic SEO (pSEO) for local services starts from a direct premise: if a potential client in Campinas is searching for “churrasqueira rental,” they will not click on a generic page. They want to see “churrasqueira rental in Campinas” in the title, the URL, the content.
This means creating one page per relevant combination of service and city. Not one page, not five, but dozens or hundreds depending on the market and the geographic scope of the business.
For a BBQ company serving São Paulo and the surrounding metro area, the combinations include: grill rental, venue with grill for rent, BBQ chef for parties, corporate BBQ, wedding BBQ, each crossed with the cities where the service is actually available.
The central hypothesis: Google already surfaces localized results. Helping the algorithm understand exactly which service, in which city, for which intent is the pSEO work. The right page for the right search captures people who already want to hire, not those still browsing generically.
What the main queries showed
The table below shows the five queries with the most clicks over the 90-day measurement period (GSC, June 21 to September 19, 2026):
| Query | Clicks | Impressions | CTR | Avg Position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| brothers bbq | 2 | 9 | 22.2% | 5.8 |
| churrasqueiro para festa | 2 | 44 | 4.5% | 6.6 |
| aluguel de churrasqueira | 1 | 16 | 6.2% | 7.5 |
| bbq bar | 1 | 1 | 100% | 1.0 |
| bbq brothers | 1 | 3 | 33.3% | 4.7 |
Note the asymmetry: “churrasqueiro para festa” (BBQ chef for parties) has 44 impressions and only 2 clicks (CTR 4.5%) because it sits at position 6.6. One step up in that query and CTR practically doubles, consistent with commercial-intent benchmarks for local searches.
Brand queries (brothers bbq, bbq brothers, carnes brothers) show high CTR because whoever searches the brand already knows the service. Programmatic work does not fix brand awareness, but it reveals how much of the traffic still depends on recognition to convert.
The pages that drove the most traffic
The five pages with the most clicks in the same period:
| Page | Clicks | Impressions | CTR | Position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| /homepage | 33 | 353 | 9.3% | 7.5 |
| /aluguel-de-churrasqueira/campinas | 4 | 12 | 33.3% | 4.9 |
| /aluguel-de-churrasqueira/santo-andre | 4 | 16 | 25.0% | 4.1 |
| /espaco-com-churrasqueira-para-alugar/são-paulo | 4 | 53 | 7.5% | 6.3 |
| /aluguel-de-churrasqueira/barueri | 3 | 9 | 33.3% | 2.6 |
The homepage alone accounts for 33 of the 268 total clicks, or 12.3% of the total. That signals the brand already has presence in the market, but the local service pages need to climb in position to take a bigger share.
Campinas, Santo Andre, and Barueri delivered CTR between 25% and 33%. São Paulo delivered 7.5% with 53 impressions because it sits at position 6.3. The logic is consistent: positions above 5 with high local intent produce high CTR. Above position 6, CTR drops sharply.
What worked
Service and city combinations with an average position between 2 and 5 converted well on CTR. Barueri closed at 33.3% with position 2.6. Santo Andre at 25.0% with position 4.1. Brooklin at 60.0% with position 3.2 (3 clicks out of 5 impressions, source: GSC, June 21 to September 19, 2026).
This confirms the starting hypothesis: when the page reaches the top positions for a hyper-local combination, purchase intent was already formed in the search query. The high CTR is not an accident. It is a reflection of someone who typed exactly what the page delivers.
The total impression volume also surpassed what any single-page strategy could reach. 7,032 impressions in 90 days for a niche business with no paid campaigns running on those searches proves that the pages are indexed and being considered by Google as relevant candidates.
What did not work
Pages ranking between position 6 and 9 suffer from sub-8% CTR. The “espaco com churrasqueira para alugar em são paulo” (venue with grill for rent in São Paulo) page has 53 impressions and 4 clicks, a 7.5% CTR, because it sits at position 6.3. São Paulo as a city carries higher search volume and more direct competition, which pushes position down.
The query “churrasqueiro para festa” has the highest impression count among the measured queries (44) and only 4.5% CTR, sitting at position 6.6. Climbing two positions in that query would likely triple the clicks without changing anything on the pages themselves.
The second limitation became clear from the indexing data: 1,467 pages had at least one impression in the period, but most recorded zero clicks. This is not a page failure. It is absent demand. Combinations that Google indexes but nobody searches produce near-zero impressions. Programmatic SEO scales to where demand exists. Where there is none, there is nothing to capture.
The lesson
Local service pSEO is not an immediate traffic solution. It is a bet on the dispersion of local demand: instead of one generic page competing against everyone, hundreds of pages each competing for a smaller but far more qualified slice.
The number that matters is not 268 clicks. It is the CTR rates of pages that reached positions 2 through 5. There, they landed between 23% and 60% (source: GSC, June 21 to September 19, 2026). That is what happens when the right service meets the right city at the right position.
The work ahead is to push position-6-to-9 pages up in the cities with real demand. For BrothersBBK, São Paulo and the high-volume queries are the most valuable front to advance.
